Camp Hwange is set on its own private concession within one of the most remote parts of Hwange National Park in the Sinamatella area, which is known for its rocky, hilly county with thick teak woodland.
The small and intimate camp offers canvas and thatch bungalow accommodations of a unique style, all bungalows have en-suite bathroom facilities. The camp offers you the rare opportunity to track Rhino within an Intensive Protection Zone and the terrain here is ideally suited to walking safaris with excellent birding opportunities.
Activities on offer are game drives and walking. Game likely to be encountered includes all of the cat family, wild dog, elephants and buffalo in huge numbers and the usual plain’s game. Walks to the natural springs found in this area are a special highlight.Â

Policies of Camp Hwange
• Children over the age of 8 years are most welcome, children at Camp Hwange
should be under the supervision of their parents or guardian at all times.
• Children ages 8 to 12 years will be charged 50% of the adult sharing rate.
Children over 12 years will be charged the full adult rate.
• All children aged between 8 & 14years should be accompanied by one parent or
guardian in the room at night
• The age limit for children on a walking safari is 12 years and above, however, this
will be at the discretion of the Professional Guide in camp.
• Game drive vehicles seat 6 pax per vehicle
• Families with children under 12 years are assigned their own vehicle. Depending on the
number of pax, the family may be required to hire their own vehicle. See rates sheet. 4
pax & below.
Fully inclusive rate includes all meals, beverages, accommodation, activities,
laundry & medical evacuation cover. Park fees ($20) and transfers are not included.
